The Journey of Self-Love: Exploring and Nurturing Love Within’ focuses on self-love. It is a widely accepted notion that love is often an external force found outside of ourselves. This session focuses on the love each of us possess within. How do we define self-love? How do we nurture it in order to lead more balanced and healthy lives? This workshop explores this expression of love through music, literature, art, and discussion. Featuring work from Common, Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill, bell hooks, Audre Lorde, and more. As a community we will define self-love and talk about different strategies for nurturing this love within ourselves.
